THE EAGLESHAM HERITAGE TRAIL
The Eaglesham Heritage Trail was the first project undertaken by the Eaglesham & Waterfoot Community Development Trust.
Officially opened in September 2011, the trail received funding from East Renfrewshire Council LEADER fund and
Lottery Awards for All Scotland.
Ownership of the trail was transferred to Eaglesham History Society when the Trust was wound up in 2018, with
funding of £5,250 received from the AOE Windfarm Community Fund in 2020 to carry out repairs, maintenance and improvements and printing of trail guides.
The videos below show the opening of the trail and some of the many highlights along its route.
